Join Us

Prospective new members should plan to play with the group for a few weeks on a trial basis. With continued interest, the group makes a decision as to whether or not to offer membership.

Important: All members should be able to attend rehearsals from 7:15 - 9:00 PM every Tuesday evening in SE Portland.

OPENINGS (current as of 4/0/2010)

Trumpet:	Two strong players needed. May cover different parts based on section needs.
Requirements:	Good intonation, decent reading skills, ability to blend with other players. Ability to transpose helpful, but not required.

French Horn:	Good player needed to cover fourth horn parts, will occasionally double first or second horn.
Requirements:	Good intonation, decent reading skills, ability to blend with other players.

Trombone:	Very strong player needed to cover trombone parts, from first to bass as range permits.
Requirements:	Good intonation, decent reading skills, ability to blend with other players.

Euphonium:	Very strong player needed to cover parts after our current member leaves for graduate school in Fall 2010. This could be covered by a trombonist.
Requirements:	Good intonation, decent reading skills, ability to blend with other players. Ability to transpose helpful, but not required.

Tuba:	No current openings, but we would be happy to have your name for the future or for a sub list.
